I Went To A Goth Club

No lie. It wasn't a Goth night though. The place is called Club Orpheus. Its on E.Pratt in Little Italy. I use to always drive by and see just one light flashing above the door. Pete, Heidi, and I went last night for a break dancing contest. Its cool inside. Heidi got it right, it kinda looks feels like 1722. A banged up small space with decent sound and lights. The dancing was pretty sweet. I can't say I can remotely dance like that, but these guys were OK. I mean, I have seen better. The two guys in the final was awesome, but they repeated their moves. Overall, it was a good time. Cool funky breaks, and I got to meet a few of the DJs. The 1st guy, Wickity, was really cool, and said we could get guest listed to any of his events! I caught the last bit of his tag team set with Betty Boom (a breaks dj from LA). The guy that spun during the competition was Manny. I have met him somewhere before, but I couldn't remeber. Maybe down in DC? Who knows. I will be back for another thursday night of breaks and beers.
