It Has Been About A Week
I moved into Ritch's place last Friday. I'll tell you what, I am having a good time. It is really nice to be around people in their 20s instead of people in their 80s. I don't have anything against senior citizens, but you really can only take so much. Plus, I am enjoying the simple commute to work. No Traffic!!!! That is right, nothing to bad the first week. I come in late enough to skip the morning rush. I leave late enough, I don't really feel anything in the afternoon. The best part, NO MORE BELTWAY. That makes me smile just thinking about it. Things are looking up.
Friday, I was back in Annapolis with no trouble. I stopped by the mall for a haircut. Megan always does a good job. I got it nice and short but not shaved. Then Matt, Megan, Ritch and I drove downtown to met Denby and Jason for dinner at Riordan's. The food was decent, but not as great as everyone says. I haven't even been in Riordan's in a long time. We still had fun drinking and chatting it up. Jason convinced the waitress he was on a date with me, and I was talking trash to the girls next to us. They wore so much perfume, I got a headache. Later on in the evening, we went back to our house to chill. We listened to A Tribe Called Quest, St. Germain, and PvD while playing video games. It was a good time. The best part? When it was all over, I went into my room to go to bed. That is right, my own bed. It is no longer 30-50 mins away from everything I do!!! This is going to be cool...
