Taken Again?
A few weeks back, I was shopping at the goodwill across the street from my house. I was thumbing through the paintings, and I came across a nice version of Edvard Munch's "The Scream". It was customed framed and appeared in perfect condition. I could not believe it was only 25 dollars. Well, I bought it. It now hangs beautifully in our foyer. What I still can't believe is that one of the originals Screams' was taken for the second time!!!.
The AP reported this story on 08/23/2004. I find it very disturbing that the theives were able to take the painting so easily! I mean, isn't priceless art suppose to be hooked up to a security system? Especially, if the painting was already stolen? Silly Norwegians. I just hope the painting is recovered in a timely manner.

LAME LEAD INTO AN OLD STORY :slap: :D [/joking] try THIS: www.shitbegone.com :P
sorry :'(
You see simeon..."priceless" art should be protected, but not encased in glass barricades...as my philosophy of art professor Dr. Tsakaridou explained (insert thick greek accent)..."Like Wittgenstein, I hate museums!! I want to touch the art! I want to smell the art! I want to feel the art's texture against my skins!"...Hopefully things are a little more clear now...also,, it was a diff. version of the scream located in a diff. museum that was stolen the first time...congrats on your find

I just came across some of my old Tsakiridou notes today I still have no clue what the hell she was talking about. What would Wittengenstein say about this? I heard Lt. Rachet Walsh has a copy of the scream.
