Southwest Sucks
My trip out to Seattle was on the great airline, Southwest. I haven't had a lot of problems with this airline before, but this trip I did. They are just a pain to fly back and forth across the country. Going to Seattle, I had to fly BWL > LAS > SEA. I almost missed my connection in Vegas because; my Baltimore flight was an hour and a half late. Now that I think about it, my last Southwest flight out of BWI was an hour and a half late as well. Another good reason to never fly Southwest. Anyway, it is just annoying to fly with them. I got into Seattle around 11pm. I would have much rather taken a direct flight. At least they didn't loose any of my luggage. I got my rental car from Dollar and drove down into the city.
What a cool drive! You ride over a hill on I-5, and there is the city. The two stadiums are prominiently placed in front with the skyline in the back. There are only a few really tall buildings, but a decent skyline it is. They space needle is north of this few, and the Puget Sound is to the west. I was driving to John's apartment. He is a friend of Zlotty's from Indiana. I met him a few years back in Bloomington, but I had not seen him since. His place was at the Centenial at 2515 4th in Belltown. I was lucky to find a parking spot right at his door. Eric and John soon joined me, and we walked up to his place. His apartment is on the fourth floor. It is a really cool place. We organized for Friday and got some shut eye.
