Happy Birthday Too Everyone
Hmm, I am not sure if we behaved ourselves on Saturday night. I guess you could say yes, or you could say no. I do know one thing, I am glad our table was secluded in it's own room. Anyway, I had a wonderful time helping Denby, Ritchie, and Matt celebrate their Birthday's. The food at Ruth's Chris was superb. Isn't it always? Gifts were exchanged. I hope they each enjoy their presents. After our meal, the group drove over to Griffins. The night didn't stop there. Our fun continued on into the wee hours of the morning back on Homeland.
We totaled tweleve including Me, Eric, Alexis, Megan, Matt, Kevin, Jen, Ritchie, Gootz, Jason, Denby, and Teresa. I sat in a corner with Eric, Teresa, and Denby. At some points, the conversation would envelop the table. Mostly, people spoke to their neighbors.
Our waiter was named ?. It was pronounced 'Foo.' His service was decent. My glass was always full. Most people ordered appetizers, a main course, side dishes, and some finished up with dessert. I had Stuffed Chicken Breast. This is directly from the menu, "Oven roasted double chicken breast stuffed with garlic herb cheese and served with lemon butter." Tasty. Matt let me have some of his Chocolate Sin Cake. Sinful indeed. I could see it being one of the best tasting desserts, ever.
Throughout the meal, conversation swayed from topic to topic. We almost started to talk about Politics. I am so tired of talking about Politics. We talked about books. I should have written down a few of the reccomendations I received. Music was disscussed, and favorite bands were named. Plus, Eric 's camera made its way around the table for some nice shots.

Everytime a break in conversation occured, we strayed backed to something slightly inappropriate. So much fun. 'Foo' was laughing each time he returned to the table. He sure did pick some choice times to refill the drinks. The best was Teresa laughing at random words like "Colossal Shrimp" and "Pork."

I rode in Denby's car with Jason, Gootz, and Theresa to Griffins. We heard Warren G. and Nate Dogg on the radio? Whats up with the Hip-Hop Renaissance? We found a sweet spot right on the City Dock, and walked over to the bar. It wasn't crowded at all. Griffins is such a better bar when it isn't wall to wall people and a DJ. The smaller crowds with a decent cover band are more pleasing.
Since Annapolis is afriad of a really good time, the bars still do close at 130am. We planned ahead with a stash back on Homeland. Ritchie got a poker set as one gift so, a few people played a game upstairs. The rest of us stayed downstairs to listen to music. Of course, Denby and I danced to Warehouse. This never gets old. For awhile, Teresa and I played DJ. Funny how we changed the song at random time without any real skill. Good Times. Right after a fantastic intentional train wreck, Denby ran into the room. She was so happy and excited about her Birthday Present! I forgot to bring it to dinner. My Mom, Joceyln, and I gave her a piece of crystal for her new cabinet. It was passed down from my Grandmother to my Mom. I'm so happy she likes it.
Before I realized what happened, the sun was coming up. People had filtered out through the night, but Matt, Megan, Alexis, Eric, Ritchie, and I were there till the end. I can't decide where I had more fun? All three parts of the night were so Happy! I think we had a perfect celebration for everyone. Even though Denby, Ritchie, and Matt had the spotlight, I think everyone had so much fun. I know I did, and I will remeber these Birthdays for sometime.
