Jason Lost His Voice
Eric is back in town for the weekend. He came down on Thursday night. I caught up with him and Ritchie at Armadillos after the Tribe show. He is down for the big birthday weekend. This time in November, I know four people that have a birthday. My Mom is the 13th. Denby is the 16th. Ritchie is the 15th. Matt is the 19th.
Last night, Denby's friends from college, Gootz and Teresa, came down from New Jersey. We had dinner at Riordans. I think they enjoyed the local fair. Crab dip is tasty. They went back to Denby's after dinner. Jason, Eric, Ritchie and I continued on to McGarvey's, Armadillos, and O'Briens. Crazy night. A fellow Wash Times employ came up to me. I have come to realize, a lot of us live in the Annapolis area. Overall, it was a great night. Jason had so much fun, he lost his voice.
Today, I was over at my parents house to celebrate my Mom's birthday. Jocelyn and I went shopping earlier in the week. We got her a hedge trimmer, some utensils, and candle holder from Illuminations. I think she really liked them all. Jocelyn had the idea to place the candle holder in the fireplace when there isn't a fire. It should look really great.
Later tonight, everyone is going out to Ruth Chris to celebrate the other birthdays. It should be an interesting evening. Last time we ate there, we sang christmas carols at the table. Normally, that sort of stuff doesn't happen at such a nice restaurant. I hope we can slightly control ourselves.
