Turkey Fever

Jocelyn was going to turn 19 on the 27th. I had the wonderful idea to take her out for her birthday. I knew she would enjoy that much more then a physical present. Lucky for me, Buzzlife was throwing a party up in Baltimore on Thanksgiving. Scott Henry and Charles Feelgood were headlining Turkey Fever.

We left my parents around 9pm. We stopped at Wawa for some coffee and Red Bull. It was undoubtedly going to be a long evening. It was a quick ride up to Scott and Joanne's off Paca in B'more. I was excited to introduce Jocelyn to a few of my friends. Scott and Joanne were hospitable with drinks and good music. They really have a sweet place with high ceilings. It really feels like a loft. I believe it was built in an old mill.

Heidi joined the party, and brought our tickets. I was glad she was cool enough to get the tickets. Hopefully, we would now not have to wait in a long line. The event was expected to be bumping. We spent some more time in the apartment looking at pictures from Way Out West. I'll have to grad the url, but someone snapped a cool shot of Pete and I gawking at Omi.

The girls drove down with Heidi. Scott and I decided to walk. It wasn't that cold outside, and we need to prepare for the walk back at the end. There was still a line, but it wasn't bad. It seemed everyone had the same idea, get tickets before hand. It was not that crowded in the Paradox. I hadn't been there before this night. I really enjoyed the light show, and the rooms were open with good sound. Feelgood was getting nasty. Gotta love his brand of House.

We finished the night off in style over by Heidi's. We had to take Jocelyn for some late night eats at Sip 'n Bite. I had cream chipped beef and cheese fries. That is the best combination ever at 3am. Eventually, Jocelyn drove us back to Millersville. I think she had a fantastic time. Next 18 and over event, I'll have to bring her.
