Together Under Bad Circumstances
Tony's Grandfather has passed away. I got the phone call on Wednesday afternoon. It is a shame that I have see him under these circumstances, but at least I am able to spend time with him and the family. Wednesday night, I was out in Annapolis with Tony, Vinnie, Theo, and Ken. We started the night with a long outdoor table session at Riordans. As the night got colder, we decided to head inside, but the destination was Armadillos. Our conversation had been jokes all night until this point. We philosophized about politics and war. These subjects tend to come up when an activity duty airman is in the conversation. We finished the night out at Acme. I am looking forward to another good time this evening.
Yesterday, I went to the viewing. I was happy to send my condolences to Tony's father and his Grandmother. I hope she is doing as good as possible. The funeral was today. I was not able to attend because of work. This is unfortunate, but I believe Tony understood. Again, I am meeting up with him and Vinnie right afterwork. A good friday night downtown is just what we need.
