Starting The Night Out On The Right Foot
What has been missing in my life? I couldn't quite put my foot on it until last night. I know now, I needed beer time with Gina. It's summertime!!! We went out for drinks on a beautiful Thursday evening. The first destination, The Sly Fox. Welcome to Annapolis in the best season of the year.
Before I jump foot first into this, lets get one thing straight. We were so bent on getting bent, that Gina made a fashion fopa. Right after the waitress handed us the first round, she looked down at her feet. This is what she saw.
Is that one black flip flop and one blue flip flop? I think so :) We spent a good 5 minutes laughing this up. She said, "I can't wait for the sun to go down so, no one will notice." Good Times.
After I calmed the laughter down, I noticed how good the guitar player was. He was utilizing a boomerang to layer the sound with percussion, rhythm, and lead. He tore up Pink Floyd, DMB, and ABB. The DMB was particular sweet with a Lover Lay Down > Satellite > Ants jam. We chatted up plans for the rest of the summer and let the Red Stripe flow.
As the sun started to set, Laura joined our little party. It was good to see her as well. We only stayed at The Sly Fox until the music ended. We walked down Main Street without any real plan and found ourselves at O'Briens. The girls and I grabbed a table in the corner for some good people watching.
I wasn't able to hang for the entire evening, but it was such a good time to see both Gina and Laura. Going out during the week will have to continue. It is summertime. We'll just have to remember to wear the proper footwear or maybe not...

Wow...coming from a man with a foot fetish...I must say, Gina has some HOT feet...and a reliable source tells me that wearing 2 different shoes hasn't exactly been cramping her style lately
