Welcome A New Marylander

I spent most of today walking up and down stairs. That isn't too bad right? Try adding excessive heat and humidity to the mix. Getting uncomfortable... Lets stir in some heavey lifting. Starting to get real tasty. Now repeat for hours. I love it!!! You can't beat the feeling of swimming with your clothes on even though you didn't jump in the ocean or a pool. Was it all worth it? I say yes. Teresa is almost moved into her new apartment.

I was waiting for her to arrive around 1pm. She drove a huge 16 foot truck down the east coast. The task was compounded by two screaming cats that tend to soil themselves. Even the kitty dope didn't work. She did make it safe and sound.

We then unloaded the truck for most of the afternoon. She is living on the second floor of a house. A small family rents the first floor. Needless to say, heat rises. Later in the afternoon, Ritchie and Jamie stopped by the apartment. Ritchie helped me move the couch, bed, and other assorted large items. Jamie brought a lovely housewarming gift - a rock garden. Thanks!

After they left, we started to wind the day down. The sun had already started to set, and the temperatures began to settle. It had been a long day of moving, but everything was in the apartment. We even began to organize a small portion of her stuff. The weekend will be filled with finishing touches, but I am happy she finally arrived and safely at that!
