Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all!  Today is a brand new experience for me. I am spending Christmas with just Teresa.  We didn't travel back to the East Coast so soon after the move.  It was a good idea, but we still miss our families.  It was great to speak with everyone on the phone.  I also got to send a ton of text messages.  I am thankful for all the friends and family and know we miss y'all.

We did get along very well by ourselves.  I helped Teresa prepare a large turkey dinner that included stuffing, gravy and broccoli.  Each item was savory.  The gravy was infused with brandy, and it complimented the stuffing quite nicely.  I don't think I like the taste as much as traditional gravy, but it was superb.  We now have enough leftovers for the rest of the week.

Before our scrumptious dinner, we exchanged presents.  One of my favorites was a membership in the Oregon Brewers Guild.  The guild referrs to members as SNOBs or Supporters of Native Oregon Beer.  Membership includes a sweet shirt and beer benefits.   I also received a new pair of soccer cleats.  My new pair are Adidas +Predator Absolion cleats.  I have worn Pumas for a few years, but I wanted to go back to Adidas. My last pair of Pumas were not fitted properly.  They mangled my feet all fall.

I really enjoyed this Christmas.  It was a special one spent with my new wife.  I received great gifts and ate amazing food.   I did miss all my friends and family back east, but I'll see y'all soon.  I hope each of your Christmases were as awesome as mine.
