Have you even been invited to a PI Party? Me either. Friday was 3.14, so a very creative friend of Teresa's threw a PI Party. We didn't all gather and crunch numbers. Not even close. We all gathered and ate Pie! What an awesome idea. I love Pie.
The party was the brainchild of Joanna and Justin. Teresa met Joanna through teaching. They live over in the Mississippi area. They have a gorgeous bungalow just off Mississippi Avenue. Those that attended the party brought pie or wine. Since we didn't have the time to get all Martha Stewart, we brought some white wine.
Teresa and I had the pleasure of meeting a bunch of new people. We learned a lot about the Portland area. We were encouraged to checkout some second run movie theaters, the Soaking Pool at the Kennedy School and some local jewelry. I was able to sample delicious desserts from key lime pie to berry tart.
I'm very thankful for Joanna and Justin for hosting the PI Party. It was the perfect way to spend a relaxed Friday night. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. We can't wait to hangout again soon.
